02/17 Ryan’s “Rainy” Friday Afternoon Forecast

We expected a rainy evening, but a few showers did move in a little bit early. Those showers are expected to continue, with stronger storms moving in late tonight, just before midnight. None of these storms are expected to be severe, but any t-storm moving through overnight can still be dangerous. A few showers will linger into the morning, but by noon skies will begin clearing significantly. The airmass trailing this low pressure system is Pacific in nature, so temperatures will be warmer than average to begin the week. Another, stronger frontal system will be moving out of Southern California through the weekend, and will slowly move across South MS Monday through Wednesday. Expect widespread cloudiness and scattered showers throughout this period. Temps cool slightly afterwards, but will remain in the low-to-mid 70s.
