02/10 Ryan’s “Warm & Humid” Friday Night Forecast

The last two days have been dry, sunny, and clear; but moisture advection ushers in warm & humid evenings…starting tonight. Patchy fog will begin developing after midnight, and should linger into the early morning, but not much later than that. Expect the clouds that move into the area tonight to hang around through the rest of the weekend, but it won’t be until Sunday evening that we’ll see any significant chance of rain. This will be due to a weak front moving through South MS, bringing light showers from about 6 PM – 10 PM. We’ll begin to see some clearing overnight Sunday, but that same front will drag another system through the MS Gulf Coast Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, which will finally clear the skies and bring some cooler and drier weather back to the coast.
