02/25 Ryan’s “Cloudy Again” Monday Night Forecast

Yesterday was nice and sunny, but cloudy skies have already moved in again. Only trace amounts of rain today but expect that to continue to increase through the middle of the week.

MOST OF OUR WEATHER THROUGH THE WEEK WILL COME FROM THE SOUTH AS A WARM FRONT INCHES NORTHWARD FROM THE GULF.

As it closes in, expect more and more scattered showers with a low chance of isolated thunderstorms. By Wednesday and Thursday this frontal system will move eastward across South MS as another system bears down from the North.

THIS WILL TRAP MOISTURE IN THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST, KEEPING CLOUD COVER, PATCHY FOG, AND MODERATE RAIN CHANCES IN PLACE THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK.

It seems a weak front with some cooler air is moving in over the weekend, but there is little confidence in timing and it will likely stall along the coastline and bring more rain into the beginning of next week.
