02/22 – Brantly’s “Gradually Clearing and Warmer” Monday Forecast
Scattered showers will be possible Monday, especially during the morning hours, that could produce light to moderate rainfall for the region. Some patchy fog will also be possible in between showers for the inland areas.
During the day and evening Monday, models are showing a consensus for diminishing rain chances, as drier conditions and high pressure build in on Monday afternoon. Northerly surface winds Monday evening and overnight will help cold air move into the region, causing colder than normal low temperatures for Tuesday morning. Low temperatures on Tuesday morning should get down into the upper 30s in our northern areas to mid 40s for our southernmost areas.
Some isolated showers will be possible Thursday afternoon and evening with the daytime heating, especially for inland areas. An added benefit of the warm air moving in along with moisture returning Wednesday and Thursday is that it will allow for warmer high temperatures. For both days, highs are expected to be in the mid to upper 60s and low 70s.
