02/11 Ryan’s “Cloudy, Cooler” Thursday Night Forecast

Our cloudy, damp weather isn’t going to change much tonight, but it is going to be much cooler. It’s currently only a few degrees cooler, but by sunrise it should be over ten! Expect an overnight low near 52, with cloudy skies and more showers by sunrise. Patchy fog may linger, but not expecting the dense fog of the last few days thanks to stronger northerly winds. That wind shift will change things for tomorrow as well. Yesterday’s high was still near 70, but I’m expecting tomorrow’s to be closer to a cool, damp 54 degrees.

Even as the rain chances begin to fall heading into the weekend, the clouds just won’t leave.

Sunday’s skies break up a bit, but another front is approaching that’ll bring them rushing back by Monday.

It’s as this last short-wave passes through overnight Monday that we have our best chance of any winter weather.

There appears to be enough moisture to work with, but I’m still skeptical we’ll see anything significant. Light snow is possible, but it will more likely be of the icy, slick variety if anything.
