02/11 – Brantly’s “Warm and Humid” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast

Foggy conditions continue along the coast and over the Mississippi Sound with visibility down the less than half a mile in some locations. A Marine Dense Fog Advisory continues until noon Wednesday.

Meanwhile, skies are partly cloudy farther inland allowing for things to heat up. Temperatures have already hit the lower 80s in some locations north of I-10 and the mid 70s along the coast.

A few scattered showers are moving toward South Mississippi. On and off rain can be expected today, tonight, and tomorrow with rain chances ranging between 40 and 50 percent.

Rain chances increase to around 80 percent overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning as a line of storms moves across the region ahead of a cold front.

We should dry out by Friday with much cooler air in place for the first part of the weekend under mostly sunny skies.
