02/09 Ryan’s “Warm Week Ahead’ Monday Morning Forecast

The weekend cooled down a bit, but as we're in for a warm week ahead as spring-like weather returns.

We have another warmer week ahead after last week’s spring-like weather, with only a slight cool-down expected over the weekend. Our normals are starting to climb back up, with lows now expected to be in the mid 40s & 60s, but today’s low in Gulfport only dropped to 48. This afternoon will warm sharply through the 5os and 60s, nearly reaching 70 by the afternoon. It wouldn’t surprise me if we get there, but cloud cover will be moving in and may limit warming if it’s a little thicker than expected. Temperatures climb nearly every day this week, eventually leveling off in the mid 50s/low 70s by Wednesday. That’s when the chance of spotty showers move in, but you won’t need to worry about more consistent rain until Saturday morning.
