A mix of sun and clouds today across the Gulf Coast. Highs this afternoon will be about normal for this time of the year, getting into the lower 60s.

Tonight expect overcast skies and a 50 percent chance of rain, mainly after midnight. Rain chances go up to around 80 percent by Friday morning as showers move through and temperatures stay cool in the 50s.

The weekend will be rain-free with mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures in the lower to mid 60s during the day.
