01/29 Ryan’s “Warming” Friday Night Forecast

Still chilly tonight, but our warming trend has begun anew. Expect to see slightly warmer lows tonight, now near 39, and rapidly increasing through Saturday. That means a warmer, more humid high near 65 degrees with increasing cloud cover. Rain chances increase through the day with isolated showers early in the evening and scattered showers moving in overnight.

Overall rainfall not expected to exceed 0.2″, and thunderstorms will struggle to form.

By Sunday afternoon the cold front will have passed, and cooler, drier air will rush in. That means a big drop in highs and lows to start the week, falling from near 70 on Sunday to the mid 50s by Monday. Monday night will be close to freezing, but the mercury will start inching upward again towards the middle of the week. This is due to the approach of our next front, which will bring clouds and showers by the end of the week.
