01/29 Ryan’s “Still Warming” Thursday Morning Forecast

We saw another frosty morning out there today, but it is still warming steadily into Friday.

We are still warming up each morning and afternoon for the rest of the week, but it wasn’t enough to keep us out of frosty territory again this morning. South Mississippi cities remained below freezing, but overall warmed up between 2-5° over where we were yesterday. This afternoon will end up being just a degree or so warmer with highs in the upper 50s, if not see no change thanks to thicker cloud cover today. Tonight will be the warmest we’ll have seen all week, low falling only into the low 40s after spending every morning before that in the 20s. We’ll be in the 60s by noon Friday, but that’s as warm as it gets as the front passes through. That’s going to set us up for the coldest weather so far as lows fall into the teens-and-low 20s for the lows and 30s for the weekend.
