01/11 Ryan’s “Grey & Chilly” Monday Night Forecast

Grey skies moved in along with a front that brought wintry weather to the north, but wet, cold conditions here. Still expecting it to be above freezing on the Coast, but just barely with a low near 34. Factor in our weakening wind, which will still be between 5-10 mph, and it’ll actually feel like the upper 20s.

It would be even colder if not for that lingering cloud cover, which I expect to be gone by the afternoon tomorrow.

That means we’ll see slowly clearing skies and a cool high near 52. This begins a slow, steady warming trend that takes us almost back to average (~60 degrees) by Thursday. That’s due to our next front, bringing a a slight warm-up Thursday night and a chance of showers Friday. It’s not looking like a very significant front, but we’re in for another big cool-down on the backside…meaning another stretch of nights in the 30s.
