Youth for Christ opens new store in Gulfport

Youth for Christ just opened a new store in Gulfport in hopes of spreading its mission.

The store is called ‘Bloomingdeals’ and it is located at the Gulfport Premium Outlets.  Youth for Christ already has two stores, Thrift Market and Buy Now, which are both located on Pass Road.

This new discount store offers an array of items including baby items, furniture, jewelry, and household items.

Youth for Christ is South Mississippi’s largest youth organization, serving more than 3,000 students a week. Youth for Christ Executive Director Brad Holt said, “It’s going to be a great fundraising opportunity for the ministry. So, not only can you get great deals, 30 to 70 percent off, but you can also support the ministry of Youth for Christ. Some people have already asked me ‘why in the world Brad, y’all have already got this big thrift store. You have an auction that goes on Friday night. Why do you need this?’ We need this because there are still lost kids in South Mississippi that need to hear the news of Jesus.”

Bloomingdeals is open Monday through Thursday 11 to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and they are closed on Sunday.
