WXXV Teacher of the Month for April

WXXV and Domino’s Pizza teamed up to recognize outstanding local teachers with the “Teacher of the Month” promotion.
We asked our viewers to submit deserving teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty. This afternoon, we surprised our April Teacher of the Month winner, Kathy Allen. Mrs. Allen has been a teacher for 23 years at West Wortham Middle School in Saucier. Mrs. Allen was nominated by one her eighth grade students, Abigail Ulmer who got to help surprise her with flowers, pizza for a year from Domino’s, Coca-Cola products and a $100 certificate to Educate and Celebrate.
Next Tuesday we will surprise another teacher at work. You will hear from the May Teacher of the Month, Tuesday at 5:30 on WXXV NBC.
