WXXV Pets of the Day: Amoray and Sheldon
Alright it’s time for our WXXV Pets of the Day where during this pandemic, we highlight shelter pets that are in need of a loving forever home.
They are from both the Humane Society and Jackson County Animal Shelter.
Today’s pets are Amoray and Sheldon.
Amoray is a gorgeous female domestic short hair tortie cat about one-year-old. She is good with kids and cats, litter-box trained, spayed and up to date on shots.
She has been at the shelter for a month. This beautiful girl would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. $25 adoption fee with a free microchip. Please call 228-497-6350 to make an appointment.
Sheldon is a 70-pound hound dog who turned up at the Humane Society of South Mississippi as a stray.
Sheldon has a very loud and distinguished hound dog bark and he uses it daily begging anyone to rescue him. He walks like a champ on a leash and doesn’t pull. Sheldon will need a tall, secure fence if left outside alone for long periods of time. Sheldon’s adoption fee is just $7! If interested in adopting Sheldon, call 228-822-3809 to make an appointment.
