WXXV Morning Reporter Everett Ganier Jr. reports live from Long Beach as they prepare for National Day of Prayer

On this Thursday, take a moment to be thankful and pray if you like. It’s National Day of Prayer, a time to reflect and pray on what’s important to you in this world.

There are a number of prayer events happening all over South Mississippi today. WXXV News 25’s Everett Ganier Jr. is live in Long Beach as the city gets ready to recognize a higher power.

The City of Long Beach is hosting a National Day of Prayer Celebration at the City Hall meeting room today at 12:15. It’s at 201 Jeff Davis Avenue.

  • BILOXI: Biloxi City Hall 12:00-1:00pm.
  • MOSS POINT: At noon at Bethlehem Temple Apostolic Church located at 5918 Martin Luther King Boulevard
  • GAUTIER: At noon at Gautier City Hall
  • OCEAN SPRINGS: At 6:30 P.M. at Greyhound Stadium
  • GULFPORT: At noon at Barksdale Pavilion at Jones Park
  • D’IBERVILLE: At 11:30 at D’Iberville City Hall
  • LUCEDALE: Noon at the George County Courthouse
