WXXV Celebrates 30 Years

The year was 1987, a gallon of gasoline was 89 cents, a stamp cost 24 cents and “Three Men and a Baby” was the top grossing movie at the box office. Today is the 30 year anniversary of WXXV.
We started here on the Coast on February 14th, 1987. A celebration was held in our studio this afternoon.
WXXV started news in 2013. Currently we do six and a half hours of news a day including live streaming of all of our newscasts.
Thanks to everyone who has helped make us a success.
