WWII veteran honored in Long Beach

The Long Beach Board of Aldermen honored a member of the Greatest Generation last night.

City officials took some time out of their regular meeting to recognize Long beach resident and veteran Edgar Red Lee McKay.

McKay served in World War II and recently turned 100 years old.

Harrison County Supervisor Marlin Ladner and representatives of VFW Post 3937 presented McKay with a certificate.
