Work on Main Street Railroad Crossing begins
In Biloxi, work to repair one major railroad crossing in the downtown area is now underway.
The Main Street Crossing is closed so crews can level out the road and raise the incline of the crossing to provide more clearance and prevent future accidents.
This project is expected to take two months to complete at a cost of $83,000.
Drivers are encouraged to use Esters Boulevard to find an opening crossing in the meantime.
