Work on gateway project wrapping up in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Long Beach is sharing an update when it comes to their gateway project.
The gateway project launched in 2018; those efforts are expected to finish soon.
The project enhances the city’s appearance along Highway 90. The project officially broke ground in March of last year, funding coming from federal grants.
Mayor Tim Pierce shared an update on social media, adding his excitement when it comes to an official ribbon cutting.
