Women’s Business Center’s Shark Tank Event is a Success

The Women’s Business Center of Climb C.D.C. put on the Not So Scary Shark Tank event. Entrepreneurs had five minutes to pitch their ideas to the “sharks,” and after that, the sharks were able to ask them questions about their product. The winner of the competition will be awarded a grant from Climb C.D.C. to expand their business.

Chantell Barkum, Director of the Women’s Business Center, says, “Well, business development is one of our main goals here at Climb C.D.C. Women’s Business Center, and so we like to provide individuals with resources to help them to start or expand their business. It’s really important to us to do some business development events.”

The winner was Candace Sparks, whose product is a bedside three in one changing station for babies.
