Woman killed by pit bulls identified

The identity of the woman who died after a pit bull attack in Gulfport yesterday has been released by Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove.

Seventy-five year-old Georgia Morgan of Gulfport died after being attacked by two pit bulls in the area of Deidra Court.

The owner of the two dogs, Emily Craft, was arrested after the incident on an outstanding warrant from last July for misdemeanor charges of having a dog at large and a vicious animal charge.

Craft has not been charged in Morgan’s death.
