Woman held hostage in Lincoln County speaks out

The woman abducted by the accused killer in the Lincoln County shooting rampage talks about her ordeal.
Lapeatra Stafford says she was with Willie Corey Godbolt for nearly three hours before she was able to escape. Godbolt is accused of killing his estranged wife and seven other family members over the weekend.
Godbolt’s family says he always had a violent nature and when he threatened one of his relatives, the family took him to court.
Stafford says Godbolt talked about being frustrated with particular people getting in the way of his relationship with his wife and children. “He was talking about his wife, his kids, things people were telling his wife and how people were intervening.”
Family members say funeral arrangements will take place at Alexander Junior High School in Brookhaven with services Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
