Woman charged with taking money from bank account without permission

A caregiver is accused of taking money from a victim’s bank account without permission.

Biloxi Police Chief John Miller said 54-year-old LIsa McGhee of Biloxi was charged with exploitation of a vulnerable person. She was taken to the Harrison County jail and bond was set at $25,000.

The investigation began March 20, Keesler Federal Credit Union’s fraud department contacted Biloxi Police because a client was disputing multiple withdrawals without their permission. Bank records show that the victim’s bank card was used multiple times in excess of $100.

An arrest warrant was issued and on Saturday, McGhee was taken into custody without incident.
