Woman charged in embezzlement investigation in Biloxi
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)-A Biloxi woman is facing embezzlement charges in a case involving a local business.
Biloxi Police investigators arrested 47-year-old Gladys Herrington on Monday in connection to missing money from that business on Eisenhower Drive.
Police say Herrington handled deposits for the company and between August of last year and March of this year, more than $14,000 never made it into the account.
Herrington is now being held on a $25,000 bond at the Harrison County Jail on that embezzlement charge.
