Winners announced for Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)-The winners for the 47th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival presented by Blue Moon have been announced.
Each year, awards are given to top exhibitors at the festival. Judges explore the festival and evaluate each booth. They honor individual artists or craftsmen’s work with one of the annual awards.
- This year’s “Best of Show” went to Makenzie Miley of Oxford, MS for her functional art bowls.
- The “Peter Anderson Legacy Award” was presented to Rachael DePauw of New Orleans, LA for her clay textured pottery.
- The “Award of Excellence” was given to Rachael Walker of Folsom, LA for her bird inspired paintings.
- The “Award for the Creative Arts” was given to David Self of Birmingham, AL for his functional vessels of stoneware.
- The best “Booth Award” was presented to Stephanie Robertson of Byram, MS for her handmade jewelry.
The 2026 Peter Anderson Festival will take place November 7 and 8.
