Winn-Dixie Partners With Local Farmers

Winn Dixie is taking the term “home grown” to the next level the grocery chain announced their partnership with local farmers in the southeast to provide product in their stores. There are over 125 suppliers Winn Dixie is teaming with from in the southeast. Over 1 million local strawberries are sold per month as well as over a million local red potatoes. Organic products are sourced from certified organic farmers who follow the U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines. This ensures their crops are grown without synthetic herbicides or pesticides.
