William Carey University women’s tennis wins sportsmanship award

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced William Carey University as the winner of the 2024 Women’s Team Sportsmanship Award.

The award is presented each year to the team that displays expectational sportsmanship, character, and ethical conduct during the ITA NAIA National Team Indoor Championships.

At the tournament, the WCU crusaders lost against Southeastern University and St. Thomas University, but won against Ave Maria University.
