William Carey University cuts ribbon on new facility
William Carey University is celebrating two major milestones when it comes to medical programs for students.
Students and staff cut the ribbon on the Charles Pickering Institute of Primary Care this week at the school’s Hattiesburg campus.
The new facility will allow the school to train physicians of the future in a cutting-edge stetting.
William Carey’s College of Osteopathic Medicine was also ranked number one in the nation for most graduates practicing in primary care and also announced as a tier 1 medical school for primary care by U.S. News and World Report.
William Carey also ranked number three for graduates practicing in both rural and under-served communities.
