William Carey Tradition Campus honors Joseph Canizaro
A ceremony held Friday on the William Carey Tradition Campus honored the man who led the way to bring the Tradition community development project to life.
Joseph Canizaro, who passed away in June, was the primary visionary behind Tradition.
The main administration building was named Canizaro Hall. It was the first building completed at the campus, which opened in 2009.
WXXV News 25’s Dave Elliot went to the ceremony and talk to University President Dr. Ben Burnett about Canizaro’s legacy.
