Wilkes Bridge repairs

Starting today, drivers can expect a bit of a delay while traveling along Cowan Lorraine Road.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation will open and close the bridge for 15 minute periods as they work to repair and inspect the drawbridge.
A sign located at the top of the Wilkes Bridge says the process will take place between midnight and 2 a.m.
MDOT plans to have the project completed by 3 a.m. on Thursday.
