Wiggins Walmart Supercenter reopens after gas line rupture

Wiggins, Miss. (WXXV)- Operations at the Walmart in Wiggins are back to normal after a gas line rupture forced a delayed opening Tuesday morning.

Wiggins Fire Chief Steven Purvis says that line, located outside the store, was accidentally hit around 3 a.m.

As a precaution, the store was evacuated and it reopened just after 7 a.m.

Wiggins Fire units stayed on scene until gas crews were able to make the necessary repairs.
