Wiggins Police are warning about a story going around on social media.

According to the department, a story is going around that young girls are knocking on doors late at night.

The post claims that when the home owner tells them they are calling the police, the girls run back to a car filled with men.

The Wiggins Police want to clarify they did not receive any reports and are not aware of that happening in the area.

That being said, police said if you see something concerning to say something.

The department is there to keep the community safe and asks for anyone to call if they see suspicious activity.
