Wiggins Fire Chief selected as VP for southern district of state firefighters association

WIGGINS, Miss. (WXXV)- Wiggins Fire Chief Steven Purvis has been nominated and selected for a big role!

Chief Purvis has been selected as the vice president of the Southern District of the State Firefighters Association.

In this role, he will represent firefighters and departments across the region.

He also serves as a voice for the fire service, support training, and professional development initiatives.

Chief Purvis will work alongside fire service leaders from across the state.
