The Whiskey Barrel in Bay St. Louis holding grand opening March 20th
The Whiskey Barrel in Bay St. Louis will be hosting their grand opening with Wayne Toups performing on March 20th.
The Whiskey Barrel, located at 7165 Lower Bay Road, wanted to expand their venue to allow more customers in and allow bigger acts to perform. The bigger venue will hold up to 350 people.
The Whiskey Barrel will host a soft opening for frontline workers only on March 19th with live music by Failure to Appear.
Owner Brandon Necaise tells News 25 it will be a show you don’t want to miss. “Wayne Toups is right across the state line from us. He is one of the bigger names in swamp pop. We are not far from selling out. I think we are 30 tickets away from selling out which is very good. For $15 you are coming in to get a good name band in a big bar like this. It’s going to be a really good time.”
The doors for the Whiskey Barrel will open at 5 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. on March 20th.
