Wetzel takes circuit clerk race in Harrison County

With all precincts reporting, Justin Wetzel has won the Harrison County circuit clerk’s race.

Wetzel will replace longtime circuit clerk Connie Ladner, who is retiring.

Wetzel, a Republican, finished with 60 percent of the vote over independent Melvin Ray.

Wetzel finished with 18,792 votes to Ray’s 12,336 votes in the county.
