Wet roads cause dangerous conditions

Earlier this morning around 5:30, one vehicle hydroplaned on Highway 49 near the Walmart Supercenter and the Red Roof Inn causing a crash.

No one was injured in this accident either, but it does go to show the dangers of these wet roads. Rain was not the only problem on the roads this morning, thunder and lightning affected the area as well.

The National Weather Service is forecasting another round of storms over the weekend into early next week.

Residents need to be ready for additional rainfall to cause flooding and many rivers at or above flood stage.
