West Harrison Football Coach Quincy Patrick named NFF Coach of the Year

West Harrison fifth-year Head Football Coach Quincy Patrick is building a program from the ground up and the Mississippi Gulf Coast chapter of the National Football Foundation has taken notice.

They awarded him the 2023 Coach of the Year honors.

This season, the Hurricanes did what they said they couldn’t, posting their first-ever winning season in 13 years of existence. Under Patrick’s watch, West Harrison finished 6-4 overall with a district mark of 3-4, just one game back of making the playoffs for the first time in program history.

Another first for the Canes, finishing with a perfect 4-0 record at home.
