Welcoming newly introduced Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast CEO

About a month ago, Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast introduced Milton Segarra as their new CEO. Tonight, a reception was held at the Scarlet Pearl to introduce and welcome the Puerto Rican native to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Elected officials and select community members were invited to enjoy a night of food and drinks with Segarra and his family. Bill Holmes Sr., the president of the board, had the honor of introducing the new Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast CEO to the community.
News 25 spoke to Segarra who tells us developing a comprehensive strong message that reflects the Mississippi Gulf Coast experience is one of his top priorities. “I’m delighted to be here, honored actually to be part of this community and all the resources, all the talent and intellectual capital that I can bring to the table, believe me it’s going to be maximized to make sure we bring good results and good outcome to the community here in the Gulf Coast.”
Holmes said, “We are really excited. We know we have the product. We just need to get it to the right streams of communication, to the right people, and he has the contacts, and we are really proud of that.”
Holmes says the board considered local and nationwide applicants for the position, but Segarra’s experience and connections were the most qualified for the role.
