WXXV Welcomes Meggan Gray to “NEWS 25 Today” Team
GULFPORT (Oct. 28, 2021) – WXXV-TV (NBC and FOX) in Gulfport-Biloxi, Mississippi is pleased to welcome veteran newscaster Meggan Gray to the News 25 family. Meggan will co-anchor “News 25 Today” from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday-Friday and will also anchor the noon newscast on WXXV-TV, NBC.
“I’m excited to have this opportunity to continue the career I love, here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast,” she said. “South Mississippi will always be my home. I can’t wait to begin this next chapter with WXXV, allowing me to continue to wake up and serve the community I adore; it’s such a blessing.” Meggan will join Co-Anchor Grant Chighizola, Meteorologist Brantly Keiek and Chief Meteorologist Rob Knight.
Meggan was born and raised in Gulfport. The former “Miss SJS” attended St. John High School (now St. Patrick High School) and then graduated with honors from Auburn University in 2003. She and her husband, John, have three children together. Meggan has worked on-air in this market for more than sixteen years.
