Jordyn is now happy to call South Mississippi her new home!
Jordyn is a people person. She loves talking to someone new every minute! She said it is a thrill to meet new people. She is excited to have a chance to cover news from where you live! We know you are going to adore Jordyn’s energy and her appreciation of living in South Mississippi.
Jordyn Lassiter was born and raised in Houston, Texas and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig Sooie!). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and worked as a Sideline Reporter for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Jordyn is excited to join the Mississippi Gulf Coast community and share the diverse stories of its people.
When not in the newsroom, Jordyn can be found cheering on the Houston Astros and the Arkansas Razorbacks, watching reality TV, and enjoying Cajun food!
