Weekend shed fire in Ocean Springs quickly contained, no injuries reported
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs Fire Department is sharing details about a shed fire over the weekend.
The crew says a fire of any size equals a bad day. The fire department reminds all that in the summer heat, a fire can spread quickly and firefighters face the challenge of battling heat stress in the gear as well.
The crew stopped the fire from spreading, protecting nearby homes and trees.
No one was injured.
