Weekend crash in Stone County leaves one person dead

Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Saturday that left one person dead.

Around 4 PM on August 31st, highway patrol responded to a single car wreck on Highway 49 in Stone County.

Kristen Arendale and Jamie Lynn Sullivan, both of Brandon, were driving north when their car ran off the road and overturned.

Both were taken to the hospital, Sullivan dying from her injuries.
