Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs to close for road work

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- A warning for drivers in Ocean Springs, Washington Avenue from La Fountaine Front Beach will be closed starting Monday, March 9.

This closure is for road work in the area. The project is to raise the foot of Washington Avenue to minimize the roadway from flooding at high tide.
