UPDATE: Suspect arrested for shooting into a dwelling

Gulfport police have arrested a 17-year-old male for shooting into a dwelling.
Ladarious Thompson was arrested at approximately 5:58 p.m. by members of the Gulfport Police
Department Patrol Division. According to Sergeant Joshua Bromen, around 12 this morning police responded to Fournier Avenue in reference to a shooting.
Witnesses told authorities a group of males and females were arguing and the suspect is believed to have fired a gun several times, striking an occupied residence. The residents were not injured during the shooting.
Thompson was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility to be held in lieu of a $150,000.00 bond set by Harrison County Justice Court Judge B. Ladner.
