Walter Anderson Museum of Art Gala Getting Underway

The biggest fundraiser of the year for the Walter Anderson Museum of Art is tonight.
Doors at this year’s annual gala open at 6 at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi. They are setting the stage for a Greek evening, in line with this year’s theme “The Iliad and the Odyssey.”
This is the museum’s 26th annual gala and fundraiser. The four hour event will feature Greek food, a silent auction, live music and a live auction. The top auction item this year is expected to be a line drawing by the late artist donated by his family. Museum leaders say it’s now a rare opportunity to purchase a Walter Anderson piece.
Tickets are $100 a person or $175 a couple.
