Walmart prepares for Black Friday

Black Friday is just days away and the Walmart Superstore in Gulfport is already preparing for the influx of shoppers.

This year, Walmart has added a few new services in order to make the Black Friday shopping experience a little easier. Shoppers can get a sneak peek of the best Black Friday deals on Walmart.com at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21^st.

The Walmart app will have a map on it so you can locate specific items quickly when you are shopping.

Walmart is also debuting their ‘check out with me’ program. Pick-up department manager Keyona Dedeaux said, “There will be associates walking around that you can actually check out with a card instead of waiting in the long lines. There will actually be people walking around so if you have a few big items that you don’t want to wait in the long line there will be people walking around that you can actually check out with them. So, that’s really cool this year i really like that and it helps with the rushing in the lines.”
