‘Walk a Mile in her Shoes’

Every two minutes someone is raped and one in four women in the U.S. will be subjected to domestic violence in their lifetime.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

The Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence will be hosting the ‘Walk a Mile in her Shoes’ walk to end sexual violence. The walk will take place at the Biloxi Lighthouse Pier on Friday, April 12^th. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m.

The center is also hosting a ‘Jeans 4 Justice’ Denim Day. Donate $5 and get a pass to wear jeans to work on April 24^th.
