Voting Open For Coolest Small Town

The City of Discovery wants the nation to discover what a cool town it is and it needs your help to make it happen.
Ocean Springs is in the final round of Budget Travel’s “America’s Coolest Small Town Contest.” Right now, the city is in eighth place but voting is open until June 6th. With highlights such as downtown restaurants, bars and small shops, Ocean Springs residents agree their small town is pretty cool. Resident Joe Hubal said, “I like all the little shops, the bridge. You got places to walk. I feel safe in this city. You got the golf courses close by, you got the beaches. The people are very friendly. You got your different restaurants, a lot of places to eat. The people are very nice in this town. I’ve got a lot of good friends and I’m glad to be in this town.”
