Voting machines put to the test ahead of 2026 primary elections

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Harrison County Election Commission put voting machines to the test ahead of the upcoming March primary.

The testing began at 9 this morning after a request from the Harrison County Republican Executive Committee.

Election officials ran logic and accuracy tests to check machine precision, walk through the process and ensure everything functioned properly.

Officials said the testing helped confirm confidence in the system ahead of the March 10 primary election.

The testing allowed officials to address any issues well before ballots are cast.
