Volunteers needed for 2023 Aviation Summer Camp in Gulfport
A museum in Gulfport wants to help your children soar to new heights this summer.
The 2023 Aviation Summer Camp takes flight this coming Monday.
The Mississippi Heritage Museum will be hosting three different sessions, spanning June and July.
Sixth through 12th graders interested in aviation will be exploring the world of 3D printing, robotics, aerodynamics and drones, rebuilding engines, and more.
With several activities for students to choose from, Executive Director Francisco Gonzalez is still searching for volunteers. “We are short a drone teacher and a 3D printing teacher. I will be doing some of the teaching myself, but I would really, really would like to have some knowledgeable people that can give me a hand.”
